Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his three other aggrieved Southern counterparts have jetted out to Spain.

The three other governors which includes Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Samuel Ortom (Benue) are all of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The four Governors posed for a photograph at the International Airport, Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area early on Saturday morning before jetting out to Spain in a private jet.

This was confirmed by a top party Chieftain in the state who pleaded anonymity.

He said, “Yes, it is true. They left for Spain early Saturday morning, but I can’t say the reason for the trip.”

This is coming after Wike restated stance on the call for the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu on Friday morning during a media parley at Government House, Port Harcourt.
