Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Monday delivered 3 Compactors and 3 (three) 4000-litres receptacles for solid waste management equipment to Dr. Aham Ukoh, former Commissioner for environment.
The equipment’s will further boost the operations of the waste management team in Umuahia and Ikwuano.
Receiving the equipment Dr. Ukoh thanked the governor for the equipments he declared that the governor “ Is Simply Walking the talk” in-line with The governors declaration of state of emergency in solid waste removal across the state, the Commissioner nominee promised to ensure that Umuahia zone will continue to remain clean and never to return to the days when Waste will liter the streets of Umuahia and environ causing major embarrassment to the state.
