Jovita Group, a leader in hospitality and entertainment, has launched Wiss Castel Hotel in Umuahia. The grand opening was officiated by Abia State Deputy Governor Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, marking a major boost for local economic development.
Jovita Group, a renowned business conglomerate in the hospitality and entertainment industry, has unveiled its latest hotel, “Wiss Castel,” situated off Factory Road in the capital city of Umuahia, Abia State. The grand opening ceremony, held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, featured the Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, who officially opened the hotel by cutting the ribbon.
During the event, retired former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mike Okiro, who chaired the ceremony, commended the investors’ efforts. He expressed optimism that this significant investment would yield positive results and contribute to reducing unemployment rates in Abia State.
Chief Inem Nwaka, Special Adviser to Governor Alex Otti on Trade, Commerce, and Industry, also spoke at the event. He emphasized that this investment aligns with the vision of the “New Abia” and encouraged other investors to follow the example set by Jovita Group. He highlighted the administration’s commitment to removing obstacles for investors to foster economic growth.
Before the ribbon-cutting, Deputy Governor Emetu conveyed his appreciation for the investment and assured the investors of the government’s continued support.
