The battle for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency seat has taken another dimension with the emergence of Chief Amobi Ogah as the candidate of Labour Party in that federal constituency unopposed.
The primary election that held at Okpotong Hall Bende in Bende Local Government Area today June 8th 2022, saw the emergence of Chief Amobi Ogah with other candidates from Abia North Senatorial zone.

Some other candidates that emerged includes, Dr Ibe Okwara Osonwa for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Honorable Lukman Ukara Onyeani as Abia North Senatorial candidate and other House of Assembly candidates.
Speaking after his emergence, Amobi Ogah appreciated the party for the platform given to him and his numerous supporters that have stood by him all this while.
He urged all members of the party to remain focused as a political tsunami is set to happen in Abia State political landscape in 2023. He went further to assure Labour Party officials that the ticket given to him will not be in vain as it will provide victory for the party come 2023.
Amobi Ogah called on the party to make sure party cards are available because his numerous supporters will be joining the party in droves.
Chief Amobi Ogah is a business mogul, philanthropist and one of the prominent politicians from Uturu in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
