INEC Releases List Of Polling Units In Imo Where Election Won’t Hold | READ MORE

Ahead of the Saturday, November 11, 2023 off cycle governorship election in Imo state, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has released names of 38 polling units where elections will not hold.

A release by INEC said the affected polling units mainly in; Mbaise, Ideato North, Isiala Mbano, Isu, Njaba, Ohaji Egbema, Orlu, Orsu, Oru east, Owerri Municipal, and Owerri North LGAs, have no registered voters.

The electoral body said electoral materials and officers will not be dispatched to these areas.

“Dear Imolites, please note that there will be no election in the following Polling Units (as attached in frame 1 & 2) with no registered Voters.

Do not expect personnel and materials at these locations.”
