SPECIAL REPORT:

History will forever be kind to the people of Idima Abam in Abam Clan Arochukwu Local Government Area and her neighboring villages for the solidarity and thunderous welcome they gave to Dr. Mike Ukoha, the APGA House of Assembly Candidate for Arochukwu Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly.

They were in their best, both old and young trudging along with Party supporters and stake holders, leading the Man of the moment Dr. Mike Ukoha to the venue of the ceremony even as youths of the communities entertained the guests with their baritonic samba drums playing, singing and dancing in support of the APGA House Candidate whom many believe that he deserves such overwhelming welcome.

Speaking during the Special occasion, an APGA stake holder in Idima, Hon. Jonah Ijechukwu called on Idima people to support Dr. Mike Ukoha for Abia House of Assembly and Dr. Alex Otti for Governor on March 2nd, 2019, pointing out that they will never regret their support for the two candidates.

In his remark, Engr. Daniel Ndem who is the Director General of Dr. Mike Ukoha Campaign Organization lauded the support which Abam has continued to give to APGA as a Party, explaining that there’s consanguinity between Abam people and Arochukwu Kingdom, and called on them to vote Dr. Mike Ukoha and Dr. Alex Otti in the forthcoming election so as to enable an Abam indigene to occupy the Chairmanship position at the Local Government, maintaining that such will guarantee their youth of employment and other developmental strides which await Abam people in no distant time to come.

The APGA House of Assembly Candidate Dr. Mike Ukoha, who was overwhelmed with joy, thanked the people for coming out in their numbers to rally round him and promised that the first law he will make if voted on March 2nd is to ensure that Abam Children have an opportunity to go to school.

He promised to give a new lease of life to Abia Rubber Estate at Abam so as to generate thousands of job opportunities for their youths and Abians in general.

Dr. Ukoha further stated that the agricultural produce of Abam people such as Garri, Palm oil, Rice etc will be exported and help to generate huge income for the development of the Constituency.

In their separate speeches, Chief Okorie Joshua and Madam Harriet Kalu prayed God to bless Dr. Ukoha and urged him not to forget Idima people if he is elected on March 2nd 2019.
