The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State, Professor Gregory Ibe, has assured Abians that he will not pocket the common patrimony of the state if elected as governor, rather, he will use the large resources of the state to remodify it and make it the envy of all.
Ibe while interacting with various Christian Bodies in the state on Saturday, at his campaign office in Umuahia, regretted that the state has been left in a very decayed condition for years adding that past and present governments have failed to rededicate the state which is God’s Own State to God.
He assured that if elected, his government will correct the anomalies in the state and will also ensure that the resources scattered in large commercial quantities in various parts of the state will be utilized properly to generate revenue for developing the state and create employment opportunities for the youths.
” We will create a chocolate factory in Ikwuano.
“Ikwuano is the highest cocoa producing part of the state which revenue generated from there can carry the whole state.
Ceramics will be revived, poultry farms will be set up and financed, and other industries will be erected” The governorship hopeful assured.
Ibe called on the clergymen to join hands with him to win the Saturday, March 11, 2023 governorship election in Abia state and build a better future for the younger generation.
Responding, the Abia state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Otutubuike Agomoh appreciated professor Ibe for his palliative support to the church during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He called on all to come out enmass with their PVCs and vote during the governorship election assuring that God will choose a right candidate to become the governor of the state.
On his own part, Archbishop Chikezie Elekwa, president, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN, prayed that God will lead professor Ibe to his destination no matter the attacks and tribulations he is faced with. WATCH VIDEO BELOW:
