Two female tenants said to have packed in newly into a residence located at Ajuwon, in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, have allegedly fled after kidnapping three children.
According to report, the women kidnapped the children on Friday evening, February at Itsekiri street, barely a week after they packed in to the area.
They were said to have disguised as students of an undisclosed school in the Ikeja area of Lagos State who wants to stay in the apartment for 3 weeks to round up their exams.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said;

“It is a case of child stealing. The perpetrators disguised themselves as new tenants. They rented an apartment, moved in and they have stayed there for about one week.

“As part of their tactics, they became friendly with the old tenants’ kids, but the parents didn’t sense any danger.

“Suddenly, they pounced on three kids and took them away. The incident happened on Friday.

“No arrest has been made. We are still investigating the matter.”
