Three suspects have been arrested and paraded in connection with the m-urder of Stephanie Terungwa, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Abuja.

The suspects included a 26 years old female (Stephanie’s friend), a 36 years old male, and another male of about 35 years old, all residents of Oguta lake Maitama area of the FCT.

All Facts Newspaper had reported that Terungwa (26), a graduate of JS Tarka University, Makurdi, Benue State, Microbiology department, was last seen on April 14, 2022 after she left her residence, located at the Lokogoma area of the Federal Capital Territory for Community Development Service (CDS).

Parading the suspects on Monday, May 16, the FCT Commissioner of police CP Sunday Babaji, his men swing into action on April 15 when they received information on the body of a middle-aged lady lying on the road.

crime scene investigators (CSI) took the body to a hospital where she was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty.

According to the Commissioner, they had difficulty in making a facial recognition as her face seemed to have been exposed to a corrosive substance until discreet investigations were made.

The suspects would be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation, according to the police.
