As part of the events marking the end of his 4 years mandate and the beginning of another 4 years freely given to him by the good people of Aba North and South Federal Constituency, to represent them at the House of Representatives, Hon. Ossy Prestige is embarking on a Free Medical Outreach in Collaboration with Acts of Radical Kindness, a medical team based in Northern Ireland, (ARK Missions) 2019 Nigeria Medical Mission, and in conjunction with St. Croix Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, 53, Ehi Road, Aba.
There will be over 22 Medical Doctors coming from Europe to join up with the ones in Nigeria and they will run the following clinics;
LABORATORY UNIT —— Free malaria test, HIV test, Blood sugar, BP test
GENERAL PRACTICE —– Adult Clinic: Diabetes treatment, Hypertension treatment, Malaria treatment etc
PEDIATRIC UNIT ———– Malaria test, Worm treatment
OPTOMETRY UNIT ——– Free eye test and free reading glasses
PHARMACEUTICAL UNIT —– Dispensing of free drugs
PSYCHOLOGIST —– Mental health workshop for health professionals and also open to the public.
Date: Friday 7th to Monday 10th June, 2019.
Venue: St. Croix Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, 53, Ehi Road, Aba.
Time: 9.AM to 5.PM daily.
Note: There will be a Mental Health/Wellbeing workshop on Tuesday 11th June, 2019. The workshop is free but booking is important to give us idea of the number of people that would be attending. This workshop is open to Medical professionals and the General public.
