Gunmen Kidnap Cameraman In Abia, Demand N50m Ransom | READ DETAILS

One Mr. Uchenna Nwube an Ebonyi state government house cameraman, has been kidnapped by gunmen in Abia state.

Nwube was kidnapped along Okigwe-Aba-Enugu highway on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Confirming the incident to Channels, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ebonyi State, Chris Anyanwu, said contact has been established with Uchenna’s abductor who are demanding for N50 million ransom.

The Ebonyi PPRO who stated that the incident occurred around the Abia and Imo State axis of the expressway, advised those plying that route to be more vigilant.

Recall that a week ago, gunmen abducted the prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Samuel Uche Kalu, along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State and got N100million ransom.
