FG announces N5bn palliative for all states to cushion impact of subsidy removal.

The Federal Government has announced a palliative of N5 billion for every state in the federation, including the federal capital territory (FCT), to help alleviate the effects of the fuel subsidy removal.

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state announced this while addressing State House correspondents at the end of the national economic council (NEC) meeting in Abuja, on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Kashim Shettima
