Chief Lawrence Charles Nwangwa (Justice of Peace), respected industrialist and community leader, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Governor of Abia State, Alex Chioma Otti, describing his 61st birthday as a fitting moment to reflect on what he termed the unmistakable transformation taking place across the state.
In a goodwill message made available to All Facts Newspaper, Chief Nwangwa said the developmental strides recorded under Governor Otti’s administration have erased any lingering doubts about the reality of the “New Abia.”
According to him, the impact of the present administration is so visible and far-reaching that “even the blind can feel and testify to the massive development taking place in Abia State.”
Chief Nwangwa noted that since Governor Otti assumed office, Abia has witnessed remarkable improvements in infrastructure, governance standards, transparency, and public accountability.
He emphasized that road rehabilitation projects, urban renewal initiatives, improved sanitation, and renewed administrative discipline have repositioned the state in ways that are both visible and measurable.
“What was once considered a mere vision has now become tangible. The New Abia is no longer in doubt. The transformation is everywhere,” he said.
He further commended the Governor’s unwavering resolve to rebuild institutions and restore dignity to governance, adding that such leadership has rekindled hope and confidence among citizens at home and in the diaspora.
Beyond his public commendation, Chief Nwangwa himself is widely recognized for contributing to Abia’s economic growth. He is the Chief Executive and owner of RUFTECH Aluminium Industries Ltd, located in Obingwa Local Government Area.

The company has become a significant employer of labour, providing jobs for hundreds of Abians and contributing to the state’s industrial base. Observers say his investment in local manufacturing aligns with the broader vision of economic revitalization being championed by the Otti administration.
In addition, Chief Nwangwa is the founder of the AKAJIUGO FOUNDATION, a grassroots movement focused on community upliftment and mobilization. The foundation has been actively supporting vulnerable groups and strengthening grassroots structures in support of Governor Otti’s reelection bid in 2027.
Political watchers note that the foundation’s activities have further reinforced pro-development sentiments at the community level.
As Governor Otti marks his 61st birthday, Chief Nwangwa prayed that the new year added to him would usher in greater wisdom, renewed strength, deeper zeal, and unwavering dedication to the service of Abia State.
He expressed confidence that with divine guidance and sustained commitment, the Governor would consolidate ongoing reforms and deliver even more impactful projects for the benefit of the people.
“May this new chapter of your life bring multiplied grace, sound health, and the fortitude to sustain the momentum of development in our dear state,” he prayed.
Chief Nwangwa concluded by wishing Governor Otti a fulfilling birthday celebration and many more years of purposeful and transformational leadership.
