DSS Reveals Incriminating Items Found In Bandits’ Negotiator, Tukur Mamu’s Home
Following the arrest of Tukur Mamu, the negotiator of bandits who kidnapped passengers of Abuja-Kaduna train, the Department of State Services (DSS), has raided his home and office.
Recall that Mamu was on Tuesday, arrested in Cairo, Egypt while traveling to Saudi Arabia for hajj.
Raiding his house and office in Kaduna on Thursday, the DSS said they found military accouterments, foreign currencies in large sum among others.
The DSS in a statement by its Spokesman, Dr. Peter Afunanya, said;
“So far, appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office. During the processes, incriminating materials including military accouterments were recovered.
“Other items include large amounts in different currencies and denominations as well as financial transaction instruments.
“While further investigations continue, Mamu will, sure, have a day in court.”
