Dr. Chima Anyaso Urges Renewed Optimism as Nigeria Marks 65 Years of Independence

Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso sends a message of hope and unity as Nigeria marks 65 years of independence. His call: Renewed optimism, focus, and resilience.

Abia-born businessman and philanthropist inspires Nigerians with message of optimism and resilience as the nation marks its 65th Independence anniversary

As Nigeria celebrates 65 years of independence, prominent entrepreneur, philanthropist, and political figure, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, has extended a heartfelt goodwill message to Nigerians, urging them to embrace the new month of October with renewed optimism, national unity, and unwavering determination.

In a statement made available on Wednesday, Dr. Anyaso noted that October represents more than the beginning of a new month—it marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s history, one that should inspire both reflection and renewed energy among the people.

“Let us approach this new month with renewed energy and optimism. Together, we can overcome any challenges that come our way and achieve great success,” Dr. Anyaso stated.

He emphasized that the 65th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence offers a unique opportunity for citizens to take stock of the country’s journey since 1960 and re-commit themselves to the ideals of progress, unity, and resilience, even in the face of today’s economic and social hurdles.

Dr. Anyaso, a native of Bende Local Government Area in Abia State, is the CEO of Caades Oil and Gas Ltd, a business leader known not only for his contributions to Nigeria’s energy sector but also for his dedication to youth empowerment and philanthropy. Through the Chima Anyaso Foundation, he has supported a wide range of initiatives focused on education, youth development, and poverty alleviation.

In his Independence Day message, Dr. Anyaso highlighted the strength and determination of the Nigerian people, expressing confidence that with unity of purpose, the nation would continue on its path toward growth, peace, and stability.

“Nigeria’s 65th independence milestone should serve as a moment for reflection on our collective aspirations, and an opportunity to embrace resilience in the face of economic and social challenges,” he added.

He urged Nigerians—especially his fellow Abians and the youth—to remain goal-oriented, to work smart, and to support one another in building a future defined by opportunity and justice.

Dr. Anyaso also emphasized that national development is a shared responsibility that requires participation from all sectors of society. He called for citizens to remain hopeful, focused, and united in their daily pursuits.

“This is not the time to lose hope,” he said. “This is the time to rise stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever before.”

As Nigerians hoist their flags and sing the national anthem this Independence Day, Dr. Anyaso’s message stands as a call to action—reminding citizens that the promise of Nigeria remains alive, and that every new month presents a fresh chance to push forward, together.

He concluded by wishing Nigerians across all states and communities a peaceful Independence Day and a fruitful October, anchored in courage, resilience, and unity.
