BREAKING (Kennedy Ibeh): Imo House Of Assembly Impeaches 4th Speaker In 2-Years
Right Honourable Kennedy Ibeh, the member representing Obowo State Constituency at the Imo state House of Assembly, has reportedly been impeached as the speaker of the Assembly.
Ibeh was said to have been impeached during an emergency plenary on Monday over alleged anti-party activities.
Some members of the House, said to be loyalists to the deputy speaker, Right Honourable Amara Iwuanyanwu moved for his impeachment while Right Honourable Emeka Nduka from Ehime Mbano was voted in as the new speaker and was immediately sworn-in by the Clerk of the Assembly, Chinelo Emeghara.
