CENTRAL OGUDASA SECONDAY SCHOOL: 2002 Alumni Donates Lockers, Stools, Calls For Relocation Of The School
As old students of different institution are being advised to visit and support their alma mater’s, the 2002 set of Central Ogudasa Secondary School (OGUSCO) in Isuikwuato, Abia State has taken the initiative and donated 20 Lockers and 20 Stools to the institution.
While handing over the Lockers and Stools to the institution on Friday 22nd March 2024 at the school premises, Architect Nduche Benson Uzomba the leader of 2002 OGUSCO set and also former Senior Prefect reeled out how members of his set are committed towards giving back to the institution. He appealed to the students and the school management to receive their little act of love and kindness with joy, while urging other old students to come together and see how they too can contribute to the growth of the school.
Architect Nduche equally called on all education stakeholders in Isuikwuato LGA and Abia State to see how to relocate the school back to its original site since the erosion menace has been resolved. He revealed that the present location is too small and that the lack of space can affect the performance of the students.
Also contributing the former Assistant Senior Prefect Mr. Patrick Nwaokoro, advised the students to be committed to their studies. He posited that even if you don’t intend to go to university, this foundational education will help you in any trade one ventures into.
While reacting the Principal of the School Mrs. Amaefula Helen A., appreciated the old students for the kind gesture and prayed for God’s blessing on them.
Two students where recognized and given prizes during the visit by the 2002 OGUSCO set. Nnadozie Chidinma was recognized for neatness, while Dike Chukwuemeka was recognized for punctuality.
