A traditional ruler Baale of Shangisha in Magodo area of Lagos, Mutiu Ogundare, has been sentenced to 15-year jail term.

Justice Hakeem Oshodi of Ikeja High Court gave the ruling after Ogundare was convicted of two-count charge on breaching of peace and faking kidnapping.

Also jailed for the same prison term is his brother, Opeyemi Mohammed.

The court however set his wife Abolanle, free having earlier absolved her of the charges.
