Nigerian singer, Davido has slammed Nollywood filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi after he weighed in on his colleague, Baba Ijesha’s case of defilement.

AFNews recalls that the film maker earlier stated that there is no dignity in fighting someone already on the floor after comedian Princess via social media narrated how Baba Ijesha gained access into her house and raped the 14-years-old girl in her custody.

Yomi Fabiyi made the statement with respect to some of his colleagues who according to him, come out to cast aspersions on a fallen man because they believe nobody can do anything for them. This statement however led to a back and forth with Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo who cussed him out for taking sides with Baba Ijesha.

Taking to his instagram page, Yomi Fabiyiwrote; ‘“Sometimes COMMON SENSE and CAUTION are needed more irrespective of ones personality and principle to serious issues or whatever you know. I am not going to be part of a bad antecedent. If my words come ambiguous, seek understanding before rushing to hurt your colleague online, too low and dirty. I will continue to fight for what is right and I will never condone anyone reading negative meaning or isolate my words just to give a dog a bad name and subject to cyber bullying.Gbogbo wa ni isowo ogun oh.However, we all must be united on the bigger picture and the serious issue at hand. Focus to be hugely on the mental health of the minor and her guardians AND not to twist words or engage in needless drama of distractions.
