The now ‘sacked’ security guards dancing in a viral video while on duty at Chicken Republic have reacted to the claims that the enterprise did not fire them.
Chicken Republic had in a Press Release claimed that both guards were not fired, rather they were to undergo retraining. However the two guards came on social media to debunk the claims that they were fired and not paid until their story went viral on social video.
They wrote:
Good morning Nigerians, we are here to address a publication by @chickenrepublic that went viral few days ago,
Against what they published, we wantu make it know that
*We were fired!
*Nobody is in close communication with us
*We were not offered any retaining
*We only received our salaries days after the video went viral and the company received a lot of backlashing online.
We respect every business and cooperate body involved in this but please we don’t want the wrong information circulating.
