A pro-group of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) known as the “The People’s Democratic Party National Youth Movement, Abia State Chapter ” has called on Abia Youths that are not captured in the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) register to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration nationwide and register as voters and as well get their permanent voters card(PVC).

The group made this call through s press’s release signed by it’s Chairman Comrade Nnaji Obed Asiegbu,Secretary Comrade Ikechukwu Iroha and Publicity Secretary Comrade Emeka Ebere and made available to All Facts Newspaper. The group stated that the PVC qualifies and gives the youths the opportunity to choose their best candidates for accountable leadership during elections.

The group also also advised Abia youths who are residing outside Abia to consider coming back home to register especially those that are students of higher institutions.They opined that registering and voting are major steps at ensuring that quality and credible people are elected to enhance and drive the change that the youths and young people desire.
