Popular socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu alias Obi Cabana has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), custody.
The Anambra born billionaire businessman was released on Thursday, November 4, after spending 3 days in EFCC’s custody.
According to the spokesman of the Anti-Graft Agency, Wilson Uwujaren, Cubana was released on administrative bail.
Cubana was arrested for alleged money laundering, tax evasion and abuse of the naira.
His arrest came few months after he buried his mother in his hometown, Oba. The burial ceremony saw invited guests spraying bulks of money.
