Mr. Peter Nwachukwu, widower to late popular gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been remanded in Kuje correctional centre.
The Federal Capital Territory High Court in the Wuse area of Abuja, remanded the suspect in custody today.
While leaving the court premises, Mr. Nwachukwu maintained that his late wife died from cancer of the lungs against reports that she died as a result of domestic violence.
