The inability of INEC in Abia State to pay the Adhoc Staff used during the last 2019 elections is already creating ripples, as some of the adhoc staff have started placing curses on INEC leadership in Abia State and LGAs.
Based on the information’s we gathered, some of the adhoc staff are alleging that their names were removed from the list of payment, while some are saying they were shortchanged and others are of the opinion that their allowances have been embezzled because they have not being paid more than 2 months after the election.
Of special interest is that of Emmanuel Chisom Paul, who took to facebook to lay curses on INEC Resident Officer in Osisioma LGA for failing to pay his allowance after all the risk.
Today i place a curse on that Inec Oga in osisioma LGA that has refused to pay inec Adhoc staffs of osisioma LGA, people risked their lives to do this job, yet you guyz ve decided to play ojoro with their hard earned money,

When we spoke with the INEC PRO in Abia State, Mr. Bamidele Mojeed, he informed Abia Facts News that the payment of adhoc staff is in progress. He likewise complained that some of the adhoc staff gave wrong account numbers which will delay them getting their allowance. But, he advised all adhoc staff to work with their supervisors and LGA Resident Officers to rectify any issue.
