Elisha Abbo: Akpabio Reacts To Allegation That He Is Planning To Sack Orji Kalu, Others

The senate president, Godswill Akpabio, has refuted allegation that he has a hand in the sack of senator Elisha Abbo, member representing Adamawa North by the appellate court.

Refuting the allegation, Akpabio through his media aide, Eseme Eyiboh, said he has no reason to witch hunt Abbo nor any other senator.

“It is unfortunate if he actually said that Akpabio was responsible for his removal. That’s the swan song of a man looking for scapegoats.

“The Court of Appeal across the country decides cases based on the provisions of the Electoral Act and evidence advanced by petitioners. The Senate President has no reason to witch-hunt any of his colleagues” Eyiboh said.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that Abbo alleged that Akpabio is making moves to sack senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the member representing Abia North senatorial district and three others who worked against the emergence of Akpabio as Senate President.
