AGAIN: Gunmen Abduct Workers In Quarry Site | SEE DETAILS

Three workers at Megabolex Quarry site, Idi Ayunre area of Ibadan, Oyo State, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

According to report, the workers; Ubong Jacob, Amisu Isaac and Wasiu, were abducted as they were leaving the site at about 4:30pm, while one other escaped.

Tope Solomon, reported the incident at Idi Ayunre Police station at about 4:50pm, after escaping from the kidnappers.

The State PPRO, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the abduction on Thursday, adding that the police and hunters were in search of the victims, and suspects.

“ They were abducted on Tuesday. Despite our efforts, these criminals are still going behind to kidnap people.

“The police are collaborating with local hunters to ensure the release of the victims.

“Efforts are on to arrest the suspects. We have intensified efforts” the PPRO said.
