The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has returned to Nigeria from Dubai after nine-months outside the country.
The Vice President arrived in Nigeria on Saturday night through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
Information gathered by AFNEWS revealed that his return to the country may be connected to his presidential ambition and the upcoming wedding of his son, Aliyu Abubakar, who holds the title of Turaki Adamawa.
It was also gathered that Atiku is expected to pay condolence to Zazzau Emirate over the demise of Alhaji Shehu Idris, Emir of Zazzau.
He will also visit the Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Barkindo Mustapha, over the death of late Khadija Mustapha, a stepmother to the Emir and mother to Atiku’s wife, Hajia Rukaiyya Atiku
But more importantly, the Wazirin Adamawa may have been back to retrace his political steps.
