Chief Ogwo expressed confidence that she can lead the state as she has shown capacity in other areas of life, especially in handball where she represented the country and is well known internationally.

She appealed to everyone to rally around her and make sure she wins the general election in 2023, as that would be for the betterment of Abians.

Responding, the party chairman in Abia State, Hon. Chris Onyekachi, said that the emergence of Adaugo Abia as the sole candidate of the party for the governorship in the state is divinely orchestrated as God will use her to rescue the state from bad leadership and pledge to give her the necessary support so as the clinch the governorship in 2023.
