The ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS), has added Humanitarian award to her numerous awards that make up the annual award event.
AFNEWS award which started in 2017, is aimed at recognizing individuals, corporate Bodies, Brands, Organizations who have beyond doubt, proven to be outstanding in development and impacting lives.
The 2021 edition of the event has been re-packaged as it is tagged; ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER Media Summit/Award Event.
Awards for this year’s event include; the Media Awards, Humanitarian Award, and Personality/Organization Awards.
The Humanitarian award which is a new package, is aimed at financially rewarding an outstanding Abia citizen who has voluntarily engaged in activities that seek to boost human existence in the state.
For the year 2021 Humanitarian Award, Honorable Tony Kalu, will sponsor the selected individual with a sum of N100,000 only.
Honorable Kalu is from Isu kingdom, in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.He is the Founder, Abia Generation Next (AGN) and Chairman/CEO of TonKal Global LLC USA.
He is also a former Special Adviser to Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, and a former aspirant for Arochukwu LGA Chairmanship election in 2017, under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Date for the Media Summit/Award event is December, 9, 2021 while venue is at Damgrete Hotel Umuahia.
Winner of the Humanitarian award will emerge via nomination and project team scrutiny.
