A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Director General, Lucky Johnsons Cares Organization, Sir Lucky Nweke Johnson, has called on all Abians to unite and build Abia State, to an enviable position.

This was contained in a goodwill message by the Chieftain to celebrate Abia state’s 30th birthday anniversary, and made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER.

Johnson noted that the state not withstanding many challenges, has moved from where it used to be, to a better position.

He lauded the vision and effort of the Founding Fathers of Abia, the past administrators and governors of the state since creation and the incumbent governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.

It is with joy in my heart that I join fellow Abians to congratulate ourselves and dear state for clocking thirty today. Like an infant our movement from an infant state upon creation has not been rosy, it has been characterized by several challenges, but obviously we are better of toady, than were we started.

On the auspicious day, I want to express my profound gratitude to our founding fathers, for their foresight and effort to ensure, we have a state we can call ours. The benefits derivable from having our own state is indeed immeasurable. Without doubt if as people we were still under our erstwhile state Imo, our communities as well as people will not have experienced the political access and development they enjoy today.

I also want to express my gratitude to former leaders of the state such as Air Vice Marshal (rtd) Frank O. Ajobena, CON,Dr.Ogbonnaya Onu ,Chinyere Ike Nwosu, CommanderTemi Ejoor (rtd),Col.Moses Fasanya (rtd),Lt.Colonel Anthony Obi (rtd) ,Dr Orji Uzor Kalu and Chief T.A Orji ( Ocendo) for their immense contribution to the growth and development of our dear state.

I will also love to appreciate the incumbent governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D for his development strides since assuming office as the state chief executive on the 29th of May,2015. No wonder Abians validated his mandate during the 2019 gubernatorial election. Under his watch as governor, our darling state is now investors delight .Thank you ,Your Excellency, for your commitment and dedication to service ,as you hold sway as governor Abians we are more united as a people and our communities have now been turned to construction site due to your effort to develop ailing or non-existent infrastructures.

Permit me to use this medium to call on all Abians to be unite more. Let’s deviate from needless antagonistic politics and join hands with Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to build the Abia of our dreams. Once again congratulations to all Abians for the milestone we have achieved.
