ABIA: Watch How Umunneochi Vigilante Foiled Kidnap Attempt

The Umunneochi Vigilante on Monday foiled an attempt to kidnap passengers on transit along Spiritan University area in Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area. (VIDEO ATTACHED BELOW)

 

Narrating their ordeals, the passengers who sustained slight bullet injuries took turns to eulogize the efforts of the Vigilantes in averting what could have resulted to their abduction or possible death.

 

The Vigilante group had arrived on time at the scene of the incident where they engaged the alleged Fulani bandits who disguised in army uniforms and different attires in a serious gun battle until they were able to chase them into the bush.

 

Although, no life was lost, passengers who were interview solicited for governments support for the Vigilante group and also called for an enhanced security presence in the area.

 

Recall that kidnapping activities have been on a steady raise around that area.
