ABHA 2023: Isialangwa North People Will Be Placed Above Self Interest – Alex Chibuikem, APC Candidate Assures
The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for Isialangwa North state constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly, Honourable Alex Chidi Chibuikem, has assured his constituents that their needs will be placed above individual selfish interests come 2023.
He gave this assurance on Saturday during the inauguration of ward and polling units managers and coordinators organized by his campaign council at Umuomainta women hall in Isialangwa north local government area of the state.
Addressing his teaming supporters, Chibuikem said that he is contesting not for himself, but for the interest of the entire Isialangwa north people as his motto is “placing the common good above self interests”.
“I did not come to contest election because of my own personal need . I have people who have been enslaved, people who have not been well represented” he said.
According to Chibuikem, if elected into the state House of Assembly come 2023, he will among others,
provide; basic educational support, social welfare services, youth and women empowerment, agricultural facility support programs and support for hardworking men in various areas.
“We are not going to embark on bogus projects that does not meet the needs of our constituents”.
“We have the ideas, the connections to get partnership with some foreign establishments to partner with Isialangwa north that can provide employment to graduates of this local government ” he added.
He charged the newly inaugurated units coordinators to discharge their duties diligently and work collectively to achieve victory.
Earlier in his address, the APC Local government Chairman, Chief Austin Amalaha noted that APC has come to rescue Abians from hardship, non payment of salaries and pensions, among other ills.
He charged the newly inaugurated polling units managers and coordinators to gain more support for Alex Chibuikem and ensure that he and other candidates of the party emerge winners come 2023 election.
