Ahead of the proposed commissioning  of the Referral Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre under construction at the premises of Isuikwuato General Hospital Mbalano, the Isuikwuato Stakeholders Forum, has advised governor Okezie Ikpeazu against carrying on with the proposed commissioning on the grounds that the project is yet to be completed and therefore unfit for commissioning.

3. The electrical installation and fittings are yet to be carried out.
4. External painting of the uncompleted building has been abandoned with the front of
the building only partially done.

The Isuikwuato Stakeholders forum, in order to acquaint itself of the project, visited the
project site and observed as follows:

1. The project is yet uncompleted with the site overgrown with weeds.

All efforts to reach the Contractor proved abortive as the project is without sigrpost to
indicate the project sponsors, address of Contractor and Consultant.
