The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji and his wife, Dr Onyinyechi Orji, on Sunday, November 28, graced the solemnization of Holy Matrimony of Mr Jachimike Victor Ikpeazu and former Miss Thelma Chidimma Onwuenyi at the International Conference Center, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia.
Jachimike is the son of Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
Other dignitaries who attended the event include;
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, represented by Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, while wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, was represented by Chief Mrs Rachel Umahi, wife of the Governor of Ebonyi State.
Others were; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and his wife, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Senator Bala Muhammed of Bauchi State, Engr David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Chief Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and his wife, Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Chief Theodore Ahamefula Orji (CON) and his wife, Lady Odochi Mercy Orji, former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, among others.
