The Abia state government has released list of nominees for Local Government Areas Transition Council Chairmen/Mayors and their deputies.
According to a release signed by Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, the Honourable Commissioner for Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, names of the nominees have been sent to the Abia state House of Assembly by governor Alex Otti for screening and confirmation.
Recall that governor Otti had revealed that he would make billionaires mayors of some Local Government Areas to help achieve his vision of developing Abia state including the grass roots.
