PDP Abia North Senatorial aspirant, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has said that the series of endorsement given to him by groups is because he has shown capacity and quality representation.
Prior to his formal declaration to run for the senatorial position, groups especially from Abia North re-echoed their support for him, urging him to accept representation and they will give him their full support.
Speaking on AFTELEVISION, Mao Ohuabunwa who had represented Abia North Senatorial district at the 8th Assembly said the senate is not a place for any kind of person but for the best.

He advised his constituents to compare and contrast aspirants who are interested in representing them come 2023 and field the best.
“senate is the highest legislative making Body of any democracy; it’s not where you send rookies, its where you send tested hands, somebody with intellectual capacities, that has been there and understands the innuendos”.
“senate is not a place to learn” the senatorial hopeful adduced.
According to him, Mao Ohuabunwa is an open door through which people’s problems are solved. He stated that he has received testimonies from persons who used his name to obtain favor.
