A Non- governmental Organization known as Divine Grace Positive life Empowerment Initiative (DIGPLEI) in collaboration  with Positive life Global Empowerment e.V Germany (PLGE), Schmitz Stiftung, NUE, asb Stuttgart, HCS/IFB Hamburg and Federal govt. Germany has built and commissioned a skill acquisition centre at Umunnekwu Agbo in Isuikwuato LGA, Abia State.

The skill acquisition centre which is solar powered is made up of a fully equipped catering section,a computer laboratory, clinic ,sewing institute and fully equipped children recreation centre.

While commissioning the project the President of Divine Grace Positive life Empowerment Initiative (DIGPLEI) Nigeria ,Mrs Chika Ugoagha appreciated the traditional ruler of Umunnekwu Agbo Community HRH Eze(Engr) Augustine O.Udeh (Nkalu Ukwu Umunnekwu) who  was represented by the President-General of the community, Sir Oluoha,for the warm reception accorded herself and her team and also for making land available for the project .She stated that it was the cooperation enjoyed by the group with every stakeholder in the community that ensured the completion of the project.

Mrs Chika also used the opportunity to call on the people of the community and beyond to patronize the students who will be graduating from the centre as a way of encouraging them.

High point of the event of the event was the cutting of the ribbon and tour of the centres facilities to signal the official opening of the centre .

During the event,the President-General of the community, who also represented the traditional ruler Sir Chimidi speaking on behalf of Umunneukwu Agbo community eulogized the Divine Grace Positive life Empowerment Initiative (DIGPLEI) group for siting a wonderful project their community. Chief Oluoha stated that the project will engage youths,men and women to be self reliant .He also implored the youths to stay away from all form of criminality and admonished them to take advantage of the centre as government alone cannot provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youths .He also charged anyone interested in the learning of the skills be thought at the centre should avail him /herself the opportunity to change his or her story for the better .

Apart from the skills/vocational centre the Divine Grace Positive life Empowerment Initiative (DIGPLEI) group has also before now carried out other projects in Umunnekwu-Agbo community such as sinking of borehole, donation of generating set and reticulation of water,training of indignant in computer appreciation, solar energy installations and donation of sets of computers with solar energy, building of modern toilets in the community primary school as well as training/donation sewing machines to indigenes of the community.
