The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, has lauded the MD/CEO of Flugos Logistics, Miss Vanessa I. Okpara, for providing learning aids/materials to the 1st three best pupils/students in all streams of classes of Primary and Secondary Schools, in 13 schools to recognize 18 students, who are exceptional academically and intellectually in Arochukwu.
Hon Ukoha, who stated this at Atani Civic Hall Arochukwu, commended the MD, for such initiatives, saying that many had the opportunity but could not do it.
He expressed delight that Miss Vanessa is doing it in remembrance of her Late mum, Madam Ugo Florence Okpara, and urged her not to relent.
He used the occasion to inform the gathering that due to his love for education, his office has done so well in education such as provision of 4 Class Rooms Block at Aggrey Primary school Ibom, and another one at Arochukwu Town School, Arochukwu.
The Lawmaker expressed willingness that his office will partner with Flugos Logistics in future to provide additional award to deserving Teachers and pupils in Arochukwu.
He congratulated some of the Teachers in Arochukwu LGA, who will be receiving Award for their numerous efforts and promised to support them with cash gift.
Earlier in his address, Chairman of the occasion Dr. Sir. Uchenna Elekwa, thanked the initiator for doing a good job in educational sector, noting that God will bless her mightily for her good deeds.
