Abia: Invading of Isuikwuato LGA by herdsmen, Council chairman reacts

The Isuikwuato Local Government Area chairman, Hon. Osita Igbe has reacted to the protest embarked upon by Ulonna Farm Settlement women yesterday regarding the invading of their community by herdsmen and their cattle.

AFNews had reported about the protest yesterday that held at the council headquarters.

In reaction, the council chairman, Hon. Osita Igbe appreciated the women protesters for their peaceful disposition and assured them that the situation is being investigated by security agencies, while Sarkin Hausawa and representative of Miyyeti Allah in Abia state have been notified of the development.

He likewise assured Isuikwuato people that effective action is being taken.
