All over the world, peace and security have continued to dominate the centre stage of discourse by leaders and political actors in a bid to ensure its sustainability. In Nigeria, this peace and security have been threatened by insurgency and unrest across the six geopolitical zones of the Country.
These and many more are what propelled Dr. Mike Ukoha the Abia House of Assembly Candidate for Arochukwu State Constituency to go into the race to represent his good people so as to deploy his wealth of experience towards the sustainability of peace and adequate security of lives and properties.
Since it is critical and essential that everyone should live in harmony with one another, it is pertinent to note that if Dr. Mike Ukoha is elected on the 9th of March, 2019, to go and represent his people, he will help to initiate laws with his colleagues in the House that will check and bring to an end the many insecurities and loss of lives being recorded on daily basis in some parts of the Constituency such as Isu Community which has remained on the receiving end for so long now.
Dr. Ukoha’s brand of legislation if voted, will ensure that the drag net of peace and security is brought to the centre stage of the various communities of the local government through partnership with both the State government and those at the federal level as a matter of urgency as well as importance so as to bring a lasting peace across board. He intends to reach out to the Cross River State government and the Surveyor General of the two States and that of the Federal government for well planned boundary adjustment that can bring crisis free and make the people of Isu and their neighboring communities live as one without bloodshed.
The Abia House candidate will introduce among other things, the international best practices on security and conflict resolution as well as dialogue to resolve boundary issues and equally help to sustain it.
This is the time to lay back and think, a thought that will bring peace for mankind, Dr. Mike Ukoha promises to bring all of these to the fore for the betterment of the people of Arochukwu Constituency.
