The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha has expressed willingness to assist his constituents who are interested in applying into any of the Federal Government’s ‘no fees paying degree awarding institutions’.
This was contained in a release from the office of the Hon. Member, notifying Arochukwu constituents of the FG’s approval and accreditation of these institutions.
The statement signed by Chimezie Okoroafor, the Media Assistant to the Minority Whip, Abia House of Assembly, read;
The office of the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, is by this release informing the good people of Arochukwu LGA, that the Federal government of Nigeria in collaboration with the Board of Education, National University Commission and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), have fully accredited the following no fees paying degree awarding institutions:
- NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY (POLAC), WUDIL, KANO STATE
- NIGERIA DEFENCE ACADEMY, KADUNA
3. AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KADUNA.
4.NIGERIA ARMY UNIVERSITY BIU.
5.NIGERIA MARITIME ACADEMY DELTA.
6. NIGERIAN ARMY COLLEGE OF NURSING NIGERIA & AIRFORCE COLLEGE OF NURSING, KADUNA.
Note that these special tertiary degree awarding institutions are blend of military and civilian staff.
These institutions conduct undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Aerospace Engineering and Allied Disciplines.
