Abia Govt Commences Work on Aba-Port-Harcourt Road, Mobilizes Contractors Handling Road Projects Across State

Extensive palliative Works has commenced on major roads in Aba the commercial city of Abia State and along Aba – Port Harcourt express road as stated in a press release signed by Abia State Commissioner for Information, Barrister Eze Chikamnayo and made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER.

 

The commissioner in the press release also stated that the government has mobilized contractors handling different road projects to return to sites. Some of the roads whose contractors has being mobilized to return to site includes; a) Port Harcourt Road,  Aba, Omuma Road, Aba ,Cemetery Road  with spur on Cameroun Road , Ehi  Road, Railway Road, Ohanku  Road, Obohia Road , and The link Road  between Ukwa East and Ukwa West Local  Governments.

 

The government also assured that work will soon commence on Faulks Road Aba. The commissioner stated that this is in furtherance of the determination of the Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu led government in the state to continually put smiles on the faces of Abia citizens. The Abia information boss reassured all Abians everywhere that Governor Ikpeazu is leaving no stone unturned in his determination to provide for the security and welfare of Abia Citizens both within this Christmas period and beyond. He also called on residents of Aba and Commuters to give these contractors maximum co-operation in order for them to achieve the desired accelerated positive result within the Dry Season.
