Abia State Government have revealed a plot to incite the populace in Abia with the aim of destabilizing the polity. This is contained in Public Service Announcement made available to AFNEWS and signed by Abia State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi kalu.
In the announcement, the government stated that they have received intelligence reports on suspicious movements of strange persons and plots to incite the populace in Abia with the aim of destabilizing the polity.
Based on the above, the government have alerted law enforcement agencies who at the moment are on red alert aimed at apprehending anyone or group involved in the plot to destabilize the state.
