ABIA: GOV. OKEZIE IKPEAZU CALLS FOR CALM OVER BAD ROADS IN ABA
The Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has called on residents of Aba, the commercial city of the state to remain calm as his administration will deal with road challenges in the city.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Onyebuchi Ememanka.
ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had earlier reported that the Nigeria Bar Association ( NBA Aba Branch) were planning to embark on a protest over the bad condition of the roads in Aba.
On the heel of the proposed protest, Ememanka said the Governor “will personally address a Press Conference in a matter of days on the State of Roads in Aba and the progress made so far between 2015 and now, as well as the plans on ground to address the remaining gaps.”

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has urged the people and residents of Aba to remain calm and keep faith with his administration to deal with the challenges of roads in the Enyimba City.
The Governor is grateful to Aba residents for standing with him so far as he has displayed practical commitment to the rebuilding of critical infrastructure, especially in Aba since 2015.
Consequently, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will personally address a Press Conference in a matter of days on the State of Roads in Aba and the progress made so far between 2015 and now, as well as the plans on ground to address the remaining gaps.
