The Minority Whip/Member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha has lauded Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for remembering the people of Isu Community whom have been internally displaced by providing them with some relief materials on Sunday the 3rd day of November 2019, just as the Traditional Ruler of the area Eze Mortimor Ogbonnaya Eze took delivery of it on behalf of the Community, so as to cushion the effect of their trauma which they have suffered for so long.
In a Press Statement signed the Minority Whip himself, he explained that with such singular kindness which his Excellency the Governor has shown to Isu Community, he will forever be remembered, and urged him never to relent on his developmental strides to the State.
According to the statement, the Minority Whip further stated that such gesture by the Governor is highly commendable, stressing that with this, it has given the people a sense of belonging, and used the medium to plead with the Governor to use his good offices to reach out to his Cross River State counterpart in a bid to form a synergy and table the boundary issues to the National Boundary Commission in order to bring to an end the boundary issues between Isu community and their neighboring Utuma and Ukwa clans of Cross River State.
