JUST IN: Kidnappers Of Kuje 5 Brothers Demand N30m Ransom | READ DETAILS

The kidnappers of five brothers in Pegni community in Kuje Area council have demanded for N30 million ransom before the victims will be set free.

Daily trust had reported that kidnappers had invaded a housing estate in Pegni around 11pm and abducted five brothers named Jubril Abdullateef, 22;  Sherifat Abdullateef, 20; Muyidat Abdullateef, 13; Nura Abdullateef, 18; and Nahimat Abdullatee, 9.

A relative of the victims’ family, who preferred anonymity, said the family members has been able to establish contact with the kidnappers, which he said the kidnappers placed a call to the family demanding for the said ransom.

According to him, the kidnappers used the phone they seized from the mother of the five children, Latifat Abdullateef, to communicate with one the closest relatives of the victims family.

“Actually, the family were able to establish contact with the kidnappers on Wednesday evening, as they are demanding for N30 million ransom before they will release them, even though negotiation was still ongoing, ” he said.

The spokesperson of the FCT police command, ASP Maryam Yusuf, was yet to pick calls or texts message sent to her phone to confirm the demand of the ransom by the kidnappers.
