Entrepreneur, technocrat and politician, Chief Inem Nwaka has described Nigeria’s former military vice president Commodore Okoh Ebitu Ukiwe(Rtd) as a rare blessing to the family, community, state, the nation of Nigeria and the world in general. Nigeria’s former military vice president Commodore Okoh Ebitu Ukiwe(Rtd) who served as military vice president under the military regime of Gen.Ibrahim Babangidda(Rtd.) from 1985-1986 clocks 80 today.

Ochiagha Ebitu Ukiwe is a phenomenon with different appreciations to divise many. A fine and thorough bred Naval officer, with royal blood. His integrity, simplicity, contentment and carriage, not to talk of unblemished accomplishments becons for celebration, admiration and emulation at all times.
At 80, we can only thank God for his life and the lessons he has made available to us all both in his private and public service.
A rare blessings to the family, community, state, nation and world at large.
As my Uncle, I am very proud and previledged to be very close to him. As a Naval officer, the Navy continues to relish his contributions and unassailable standards he set. As a Governor, Niger and Lagos State will remain grateful. As Chief of General Staff/Vice President, Nigeria will always remember his unblemish record. As a community leader, Abiriba and the entire Igbo nation will always celebrate him.
May the Almighty God give him all the joy, good health and sense of fulfillment, even as we pray for many more years for him.
