To ensure operational efficiency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has donated a brand new 18 seater Toyota Hiace bus to the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Matters headed by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Matters, Comrade Akwaowo Clifford.
In a show of respect, Comrade Akwaowo Clifford Ukpong yesterday presented the operational vehicle to the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Nse Udo Essien.
The Ministry helmsman in his remarks described the Governor as student friendly, one who continually has the affairs of the students at heart. He cited some of the Governor’s acts of kindness towards students in the State, the donation of the vehicle being the latest . He therefore charged the Special Assistant to maximally utilise the vehicle to enhance service delivery in his assigned task.
Responding, Comrade Akwaowo Clifford Ukpong thanked the Governor for the kind donation adding that it was a morale boaster and would enhance quick response in the discharge of his duties. He also lauded the Commissioner for being a worthy ambassador of the education sector of the State while pledging his unalloyed loyalty and support to the Udom Emmanuel administration. Clifford vowed to work assiduously to compliment the completion agenda of the Governor in education
