The new marriage of the Nigerian Custom Service Boss, Hammed Ali is facing a Controversy at the moment.
Zubairu Dalhatu Malamia the ex boyfriend of Zainab Abdullayi Yahaya who got married to Customs Comptroller General has sued the lady requesting for a refund of everything he had spent on her since she dumped him to get married to the Nigerian Custom Service Boss.
According to Buba partners a law firm representing Zubairu Dalhatu Malamia, there is a breach of contract and as such a refund of all necessary commitment from the man is expected and Zubairu Dalhatu Malamai, the Ex-boyfriend Of Customs Boss, Hammed Ali’s New Wife demands refund Of N9,081,207.45 he spent On her during Their Courtship.
According to Sir I.I Wangida the managing partner of Buba partners soliciting for Zubairu Dalhatu , the relationship has only lasted for three years and within the three years his client has spent a whooping N9,081,207.45 On her during Their Courtship. And since the marriage could not take place, he is asking for a refund with immediate effect.
This refund is on the premise that Zainab Abdullayi Yahaya was making and had made a promise to marry Zubairu even when she knew she was deceiving him and never planned to marry him , “be that as it may , we have our clients brief that you have decided to pick another to marry as your husband and while our client congratulate you on your new home , we have our clients instruction to disclose to you of his displeasure over your reaction few days before your marriage by taking an unnecessary fight with him thereby insulting him and calling him all kinds of names and your claims that he calculate all that he has spent on you as loan and investment, trip ticket etc for refund since you are no longer in his life ”
Now the refund claim have been made by Zubairu Abdullayi Yahaya through BUBA partners up to the tune of Nine million ,and Eighty one thousand ,two hundred and seven naira , forty-five Kobo only . She is expected to pay back otherwise a legal action would be instituted Against her to recover everything that was spent on her.
A Breakdown of the refund as made available to AFNEWS revealed that
#2,778,207.48 ( Two million ,Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight thousand,Two Hundred and Seven naira ,Fourty Eight Kobo ) was borrowed for flight ticket at several interval of time
#450, 000 was borrowed for clothing business in USA
#280,000 was borrowed for renting of shop
#350,000 was borrowed and collected to give her father
#350,000 for house rent
#300,000 as loan for Vails
#500,000 borrowed for car purchase
#250,000 borrowed for chi-chin investment
Also requested for in the refund is #1,763, 000 given to her for LEFE cloth
#1,500,000 borrowed as a loan for investment purpose , everything accumulated to #9,081,207.45 , as at the time of filling in the report. Neither the custom boss nor the new wife has made a comment concerning the new development but it is not unconnected to the traditional marriage system operating in the north .
