The newly elected President of Ngwa Patriots Forum Worldwide Chief Sir Uzoma Ihuka has hinted that he intends to bring about among other things, oneness, unity, peace and even development within Ngwa nation through his office.
Chief Sir Ihuka who also double as a Commissioner on the Board of Abia State Oil Producing Development Commission (ASOPADEC) explained that under his leadership, the Ngwa Patriots Forum is dedicated towards the developmental aspirations of the Ngwa people, will help to bring about oneness and development the cultural interest of the organization.
He stated that the aim of the Forum is to strive to leave a landmark achievement for Ngwa people yet unborn, and to harness and partner with development organizations and see what the forum can do to develop Ngwa land.
Speaking with Abia Facts Media Executives in his office, Chief Sir Ihuka pointed out that under his leadership, plans are in top gear to set up a committee known as Ngwa Development Commission which will kick off by December this year for the development of the 7 L.G.A’s of Ngwa land, adding that it will be an avenue to assist the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to move Abia State to the next level.
The President stressed that the Development Committee will bring about Ngwa Development Company which will help to grow the Ngwa nation economically and help to carter for the interest of everybody.
When asked how the forum intends to source for fund for the organization, the President said that Ngwa Patriots Forum will partner with development organzization to source for fund to tackle the aims and objectives of the organization and also work with political office holders both at the State and the Federal level so as to bring about even development.
He described Ngwa Nation as the highest Ethnic Nationality in Nigeria, maintaining that the forum is not a political organization but a body whose aim is to harness the best qualities of Nigerian men and women by bringing about peaceful co-existence between Ngwa people and other ethnic nationalities to develop the country.
Chief Sir Ihuka however call on all Ngwa people and Abians in general to rally round the Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu in order to make Abia State great.
